The Bounce Project
We are designed to flourish, yet we face adversity every day. The good news is that recent brain science, and research on resilience, human flourishing, and attachment, support what Scripture has long taught: we heal and grow best in joy-filled and safe relationships. This secure foundation helps us manage life’s significant emotions and fosters resilience, enabling us to thrive even during tough times.
The Bounce Project provides faith-based, trauma-informed resources aimed at building resilience. These tools empower children, families, and communities not only to recover from adversity but to grow stronger as they move forward.
Offered through Healing Expressions, LLC, the Bounce Project is dedicated to helping families and communities become more resilient and trauma-informed, with the belief that strong families and communities build resilient children.

STEFANIE HINMAN
M.S., ATR-BC, BBCC
Stefanie Hinman (Board-Certified Christian Counselor, Board Certified Art Therapist, and Crisis Response Chaplain) is the founder of Healing Expressions LLC, where she works with individuals, families, schools, and organizations in the areas of trauma healing, crisis response, and building resilient kids, families, and communities.
“After two decades of working in the fields of trauma healing and crisis response, I have learned both the lifelong impact of adverse childhood experiences and the power of emotionally healthy and attuned adults in a child’s life to mitigate the impact of adversity. The Bounce Project is the result of this learning.” -Stefanie
Stefanie has spread the message of Building Bounce all over the world. Invite her to speak at your next event by emailing stefanie@bounceproject.org
“When I read Burning Strong, I had to invite Stefanie to come and minister to our cross-cultural workers overseas. She communicates her counseling expertise with simplicity, drawing on deep experience, a biblical basis, and practical applications. During the days she was training us, I heard one worker say that his life would be forever changed. I heard another say she is now equipped to grow in self-awareness. I hear another say that she could not stop crying. And I see Stefanie sitting down with individuals and families throughout the day, who come to her for advice. Stefanie’s teaching imparts Jesus’ whole-person shalom to restore our hearts and build resilience into our lives.”
